The NextGen Manchester Resiliency Council is a 501(c)3 organization created as part of the City of Manchester's Build Back Better Regional Challenge (BBBRC) award. NextGen serves as a coordinating structure to track key metrics and ensure cohesive implementation of BBBRC projects, as well as a public-forum for the coalition and community leaders, business leaders, and stakeholders to advance the vision and mission of the Biofabrication Cluster while ensuring sustainability and equitable growth.
On September 2, 2022, the City of Manchester and its partners were awarded $44 million to establish the Biofabrication Cluster - one of 21 coalitions chosen out of 529 applicants from across the country.
