Economic leaders say significant changes coming to Manchester in next decade

"MANCHESTER, N.H. — Big changes are coming to Manchester over the next 10 years, according to business leaders and others who met Friday in the Queen City.

The Greater Manchester's Chamber of Commerce held its annual Economic Development and Infrastructure Summit on Friday. It's the eighth year the summit has been held, and organizers said they wanted to highlight what will be happening over the next decade.

"Manchester is in an excellent position right now," Jodie Nazaka, Manchester's economic director, said. "We have an opportunity to excel with some of the stuff that has already been happening and get that in the forefront."

The city is also benefitting from its youth, officials said.

"The migration of young into the city is really exciting," Heather McGrail, president of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said."
